Riobo includes times in the Bible where God told people to wait, and other times when He told them to take immediate action, or even to retreat. Each biblical example of a conflict or problem seemed to solve the conflict differently. Riobo explores the question of how do we know when it's time to wait, go into action, or retreat? She asks the question “What good is a list of battles if the directions are always different?” Yet, when she studied these biblical battles, she discovered that God does have specific principles for how to achieve a righteous victory.

As I read this book I realized that these 10 Battle Principles apply to every battle we face today. Our enemy is determined to keep us down, yet God has given us weapons designed for victory. This book shows us the very weapons God gave us to defeat evil and live righteously by exposing the weapons used against us and by listing the weapons God has given us to win as we use these 10 principles confidently!

Battle Principles reminds us that we are not alone in our battles. God is always with us and give us the weapons we need. He tells us when to act and when not to. This book teaches us to listen for God. I refer to it again and again.

I've always enjoyed having my two daughters in the kitchen cooking alongside me, but honestly, there was not much in the recipes I had planned that they could actually help with! It became a hassle trying to find recipes that were simple, delicious, and allowed my girls to actually participate in the process. If you're looking for the same, I highly recommend Cooking with Mrs. Paula! The pages are simple and the instructions are clear which is perfect when you need dinner on the table, but still want to make those cooking with mom type memories!

We know that praying is one of the foundational aspects of our life as a Christian, but I have found in the toughest places of my life free flowing prayer is hard to come by. This is where Battle Prayers becomes an answer to prayer. It is like a toolbox where you can go and grab that specific tool you need to tackle a problem, or the sourdough starter all ready good to go that activates a the bread making process. There are five different prayer approaches simply explained and then plenty of room for you to write your own words to your Heavenly Father. It is an attractive journal that will suit the calligraphy/scrapbboking/creative types, but for me it is just a place to grab a pen and allow the Holy Spirit to take my illegible scibbles to the heart of God.

It is a must read book, highly recommend everyone to read Battle Principles!! It gave me insights I had never thought much about before it's based from the Word of God you won't be disappointed!!
